IF THE ROOF DOES NOT FALLby Dimitry Tetin
I picked up the idea of walls as a connecting thread for “If the Roof...” after discovering a thriving market for pieces of the Berlin Wall on eBay. The work connects my memory of experiencing the fall of the Berlin Wall through watching the Scorpions video for “Wind of Change” as a child during Perestroika and pieces of the Berlin wall that was designed to insulate the Soviet Block from the free market.
