WALLS: AN INCOMPLETE INVENTORY
by Jessie McCarty“Walls: An Incomplete Inventory” is about the futility of walls and was created in response to the political rhetoric surrounding the construction of a wall between US and Mexico as well as the story of Pyramus and Thisbe from Ovid’s “Metamorphoses.” Created in 2019, “Walls: An Incomplete Inventory” contains a series of drawings depicting walls in varying states of decay and uselessness.
