ORDER AND BOREDOM
by Dimitry TetinThe title of the publication is a play on the title of Søren Kierkegaard’s 1843 work “Fear and Trembling,” which itself is a reference to “...continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling” from Philippians 2:12. The publication is based on the form of an instruction manual — the orderly inventory of the knives, the step-by-step tutorial on preparing chicken for consumption scanned from a Soviet-era recipe book layered with deconstructed typography and graphics.
