ROTATIONS
by Dimitry TetinComing Soon
In the publication, recto pages contain each frame of a 360-degree (clockwise in the x-axis) rotation (animated at 30 frames/sec) of a stellated tetrahedron inscribed in a cube. The verso pages contain the same rotation but with frames presented out of sequence. The "reader" moves smoothly through the rotation on the right, with frames appearing in an orderly way, while the rotation on the left progresses by fits and starts, as each frame is disconnected from one that came before and the one that follows. The tetrahedron appears simultaneously to be "in" and "out" of time.
