Featuring one of the most common toponyms in the United States, Springfield is an homage to a destination that is simultaneously specific, generic, and part of the popular American imagination. With a wink, this print seeks to question the relationship between place and identity, asking why our projection of self is often so intertwined with "where" we’re from.
